The department of Electrical Engineering was established in 1984. It offers UG, PG and PhD programmes in electrical engineering. The PG programme is offered for the specialization 'Power Electronics and Power System'. The National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi has accredited the UG programme for four times in succession.
